Saturday February 6th, 2010 at the Howetown Farm Show Grounds. See how ice was cut and stored in the winter for later use in the summer. Ice blocks are cut by hand from the pond and taken by sled to the ice house with a team of horses. The ice cutting will start around 10 am. There is no charge and parking is free. Fresh hot soup will be available for sale.
